Rockingham Systems uses and supplies SKF Lincoln Industrial and Larius Pumps. When using these pumps we will analyse the application, chemical composition of the product to be used and required performance. We will then select the required gasket kit for the application and if necessary we make internal modifications to optimise how the pump works.

Diaphragm pumps work by introducing compressed air through the pneumatic exchanger behind one of the two diaphragms, which generates compression and pushes the product into the delivery duct, at the same time the opposing diaphragm creates a vacuum and intakes product.
Once one stroke has been completed the pneumatic exchanger diverts the compressed air to the opposite diaphragm and the cycle is reversed.
Some of our diaphragm pumps carry ATEX certirfication, and they all come in either Aluminum or Stainless Steel, offering maximum flow-rates of 21-900 Litres per minute.
Positive displacement pumps work using a compressed air motor that moves the piston vertically up and down the shaft displacing the product into the inlet and out of the outlet.
The structure of the pumps (suction valve, pump piston and gaskets) allow the supply of material when the pump is ascending or descending.

Extrusion systems, also known as pressure plates are used for pumping highly viscous materials. The pneumatic ram raises for loading and lowers into the drum forcing the material into the pump preventing cavitation.
Many of our extrusion systems are ATEX certified and can be used with 30, 60 and 200 Litre drums and 1000 Litre containers.Thermostatic drum and IBC heater belts are available aswell as heated follower plates to assist with the extrusion process.
