System 3400 is designed for automatic dispensing of one part medium viscosity adhesives and resins for manufacturing of sandwich panels. The system pumps and spreads the adhesive evenly in a diamond pattern over the substrate surface improving the quality of the final product, simplifying production and improving the working environment.
System 3400 can be made either in a fixed or mobile configuration. In the fixed configuration the material is moved on a conveyor underneath the adhesive spreader and in mobile configuration the spreader rolls on rails on top of the conveyor or lay-up table. The system can be used for both for stand alone panel manufacturing or in continuous panel bonding production lines. Selection of configuration type depends on product, manufacturing process, speed required, adhesive and press time.
The machine system is automatic meaning it will start and stop at the panel edges, the dispensing speed is automatically adjusted to panel width, adhesive flow and coat weight. The machine is easily controlled at the operator panel with recipe handling of process parameters and panel dimensions. The system performs the spreading sequence with by pressing the start button. The system can also be integrated into a present process line and superior control system.
The system is suitable for industrial production of sandwich panels with skin material of steel, wood or plastic, and core material of plaster, rockwool, EPS, PEX etc. Suitable for products such as doors building elements, facade panels, etc.The system can be equipped with massflow metering system or viscosity compensator system for enhanced adhesive quality control.
System 1900 is designed for string spreading of low to medium viscosity one-component adhesives, such as moisture cured Polyurethane’s, PVC and Silicone's. This system is suitable in such applications as sandwich panel production where an even and accurate adhesive spread is required. System 1900 improves the quality of the final product, simplifies production and improves the working environment.
System 1900 can be supplied with fixed or movable spreader bars. In the fixed design, the panels are transported on a conveyor under the spreaders. In the movable design, the spreader bars move over the panels applying the adhesive. To achieve optimal efficiency, selection of a suitable machine design depends on the size and length of the panels, production speed, press time etc.
The spreader can be split into sections manually or automatically for variable panel width. System 1900 can also be equipped to automatically control the amount of adhesive and water applied to the surface in gram/m2.
The system is very suitable for manufacturing of sandwich panels and is compatible with many surface materials, such as steel, aluminium, wood, GRP, gypsum etc., and core materials like rock wool, polystyrene, Styrofoam etc. Typical applications are construction and housing panels, RV and trailer panels, steel and plastic doors, wood lamination, facades and SIPS.
The automatic PLC control system activates the stop and start process of the adhesive to eliminate waste.The operator needs only to push the start button to activate the system, making automatic gluing a much smother process.
